In June 2014 Wes Wallace began his employment with the Wise County Sheriff’s Office as the Captain of Enforcement Operations.
Career
Wallace has over twenty-six years of service in law enforcement. He began his career with the Bowie Police Department. He started as a reserve peace officer for the Bowie Police Department and later served in the capacities of patrolman, patrol sergeant, criminal investigations sergeant and lieutenant.
He retired from the Bowie Police Department in 2010 with twenty years of service. Wallace was offered and accepted a position as a Felony Investigator for the 271st District Attorney’s Office serving Wise and Jack Counties. He worked for the District Attorney’s Office four years investigating felony cases and working routinely with local, state and federal law enforcement. He holds a Master Peace Officer Certification and has received numerous certificates and accommodations throughout his career.
Personal Life
Wallace has been married over twenty years to wife, Mitzi. Wes and Mitzi have three beautiful daughters and three awesome grandchildren.
